I have been so sick! I had an allergy attack on Thursday evening. The pollen was raining from the trees at Katie’s school. I was there for about 2 hours for open house. Katie is doing really well and her teacher says she will be very sad to see her leave in June.
Anyway Friday morning I had really bad congestion and just felt terrible.  I got really bad Monday morning so I called the doctor’s office and got an appointment. She gave me antibiotics and told me to rest for 2 days. I don’t think I’ve ever slept that much LOL but I went back to work yesterday still feeling woozy but today I will a ton better still a little congested but nothing like before and my voice is coming back. I won’t be playing Rock Band for a bit unfortunately though and I am not recording a Podcast until late next week so I should be good.
I hope all is well with you all and I hope now that I am feeling better I can get back on track at the gym and my eating

Hit a milestone on the way to work this morning! Yikes that’s a lot of miles on my car. We bought the car in Feb 06 and it already has 90,000 miles on it! The poor car!

Katie received a positive person of the month award this morning at school! I am really proud of her! Her teacher says she is a go getter in the classroom and this past month she is really pushing herself!
The poor thing only went to school today out of the entire week. She woke up in the middle of the night Saturday night burning with fever, no other symptoms. She was fine Sunday morning so we went to Easter Services at church and then to my mom and dad’s for the Easter egg hunt. When we got there she had zonked out in the car. My dad carried her in and she rested until the hunt. Sunday night her fever rose again, and it did all day Monday too. She had us so worried Grandma took her to urgent care. They said it was the flu though she doesn’t have a cough, runny nose or anything of the sort. Her appetite went way down on Tuesday though I could only get her to eat top ramen. By Wednesday she was feeling well enough to do the homework Grandma picked up for her and we decided to go out and pick some stuff up at Target (She really wanted a Care Bear) and then some lunch at Wendy’s, half way through lunch the fever rose again and she felt pretty icky until about 7 that night. We watched some Hannah Montana together and by bedtime she was fever free. She stayed home again Thursday just to be safe. Grandma picked up more homework for her. She was fever free all day Thursday so we sent her to school today and so far so good
That was the story of my exhausting week. Excluding Kaylee waking up coughing half the night, I hope she isn’t getting sick!

We met Edgar on the SOE Winter Summit Whale Watching Expedition! We set out early Friday morning and we really had a great time. I wanted to tell Edgar’s story because meeting him has stuck with me.
Captain Bob on our Horn Blower Cruise let us know that this Grey whale was most likely elderly which is why we called him Edgar. He may have had a lobster trap stuck to his tail and the rescue folks at Sea World were called to take a look at him. We weren’t there when they arrived so we don’t have any info on what happened to him after we left…
I wanted to also mention that Edgar has a wife named Emma of course this all made up after I pretended Edgar was the Grumpy old gamer from the SOE Podcast. He was telling us to get off his lawn LOL… anyway Mike Zenke was the voice of Edgar, and Jason “Pex” Ryan was the voice of Emma his wife. It was a really funny skit that I hope to include or at least talk about in a podcast soon.

If you listen to the SOE Podcast you know Brenlo and I went to DC last month… Anyway I finally go around to uploading my photos… This one is my favorite I think. If you want check them all out head over to my Flickr…
It was really neat going to DC, I have never been. I never expected the emotions that I experienced while being there. I think the Vietnam one was the worst for me. There were just so many names on that wall.
I hope I get to go back someday with my girls maybe when Katie starts learning American History

We bought a potty… No luck yet however we aren’t pushing. She just recently started to tell us when she needs her diaper changed so maybe it will be sooner then later LOL…

 Another week passes me by… Where did the time go???
I am under the weather again! I think I catch every cold that goes around my daughter’s school. I have been adding extra vitamin C to my diet. I hope to be feeling better by the Summit next week. OMG the summit is next week LOL, I am not sure I am totally ready.
Every 2 weeks the Community team logs into an SOE Game and plays for fun. We love enjoying the games from the player perspective and this time around you get to choose the game! Go VOTE!! So I hope you are all take part in the poll! /whispers vote EQII! We haven’t played that in awhile or vote PlanetSide so we can all kill Brenlo together (Listen to Podcast 30 to get that joke hehe)

Is everyone ready for the weekend? I am! I get to play board games and have some Brenlo BBQ on Saturday! WOOT! I am also going to buy bathing suits for my girls; can you believe they are on sale already?  I know if I don’t pick them up soon the cute styles will be gone… Maybe I will get them and take pictures my girls love to model for me LOL…
I hope everyone has a good weekend, here is to a great week next week (time change UGH) but yeah for the summit, I can’t wait to Whale Watch I’ve always wanted to do it. Look for updates in this section starting Thursday. I will be sure to include pictures and a short description of what’s going on.
