Vacation – Day 1!

Woohoo, today is the first day of vacation…  Did I sleep in?  HAH!  you are funny…  Nope I got up at 7 AM, got Katie up so she could get herself ready for school, got Kaylee up and shoes on, we dropped Keith off at our other car, and Katie off at school.  Kaylee and I had a rather pleasant grocery trip.  She mostly behaved.  We came home had breakfast, she watched Meet the Robinson, I cleaned up a bit, started some laundry and then did 25 minutes on the Wii Fit.  I played some Animal Crossing ate lunch and now I think we are going to go visit with the Crosby’s.

I do have a monster headache, I took my meds about an hour ago, I pray it goes away soon.

The Holidays Are coming

and I am sort of ready! HAH right! Anyway this weekend I carted my kids, their Holiday outfits, the camera over to Brenlo’s house and took portraits of our kids. I updated my flickr today with the fruit of that labor. I can order my Christmas Cards now, and I can get most of the work done on the calendar I create with QOOP every year for family. The Halloween pictures didn’t come out because Kaylee was being cranky by that point so I will have to wait on that particular page

In other news of my life, I’ve been going to church regularly and learning how to give love away. Boy what a lesson. Its hard thinking that Jesus wants me to give love away to those people that don’t like me. You mean even those Tanarus and Infantry players that call me horrible names LOL, yes even those. So I am praying about it. In the realm of work, I am doing my best to stay organized. I’ve become sort of a project manager for a team that services the rest of the Community team. The team take care of audio, and video needs, we also have a copy editor. The team is responsible for newsletters too. We are doing really well and having fun as a team! The Community team as a whole just supported the EQ expansion launch and has the EQII expansion on the horizon.

I can’t wait for next week; I am taking the whole week off. YAY Vacation! I am going to catch up the girl’s baby books! We are going to do trick or treating at Disneyland on Thursday, Katie’s parade at school on Friday, Trick or Treating on Friday night! Its going to be fun. I am going to try and potty train Kaylee while I am home with her for the whole week, not sure how that will go but I am hopeful.

Potty Time!

Kaylee has been using her potty to store things in… All day today though she has been using the phrase “Stinky butt” and usually she does need a diaper change after she says it.  Well tonight as we were getting ready for bed she said it and was totally clean and dry so I asked if she wanted to sit on the potty and she said yes.  Instead of putting her on the little potty I took the insert out and put it on the big potty and she went pee!!  She was so proud of herself, we had to call daddy to tell him lol…

 

I am so proud of her, I hope she keeps it up.

Kaylee turns 2!

That’s right, my little baby girl is 2 years old today.  We woke her up early while we were getting Katie ready for school so she could open her presents with all of us together.  Sort of a tradion we started on Katie’s 6th Birthday…

Kaylee and I took Katie to school and then when we got back home with both fell asleep while watching Ratatouille.  We didn’t wake up until almost noon.  We had lunch and then I took pictures of Kaylee with her presents.  This one is my favorite..

She is wearing one of her new shirts, and is with her Friends 2B Made dolls.  Katie bought the white outfit for her yesterday and Kaylee and I went to Friends 2B made a few ago and made blonde doll as an early gift.

Kaylee took her dolls outside and pushed them on the swings, and played a bit. Now we are relaxing waiting until we can pick Katie up from school.  We are probably going to go have dinner and Mimi’s and then we need to get the decorations and plates and stuff for Kaylee’s party on Saturday.

The play set is finally finished. We bought it at the beginging of April and the guys finished it this Saturday! The kids are having a blast playing on it. We had quite a few of them over on Memorial day! And hopefully a ton more for Kaylee’s Birthday party this Saturday

Finally feeling better

I have been so sick!  I had an allergy attack on Thursday evening.  The pollen was raining from the trees at Katie’s school.  I was there for about 2 hours for open house.  Katie is doing really well and her teacher says she will be very sad to see her leave in June.

Anyway Friday morning I had really bad congestion and just felt terrible.  I got really bad Monday morning so I called the doctor’s office and got an appointment.  She gave me antibiotics and told me to rest for 2 days.  I don’t think I’ve ever slept that much LOL but I went back to work yesterday still feeling woozy but today I will a ton better still a little congested but nothing like before and my voice is coming back.  I won’t be playing Rock Band for a bit unfortunately though and I am not recording a Podcast until late next week so I should be good.

I hope all is well with you all and I hope now that I am feeling better I can get back on track at the gym and my eating

Hit a milestone on the way to work this morning! Yikes that’s a lot of miles on my car. We bought the car in Feb 06 and it already has 90,000 miles on it! The poor car!
